Our Topic This Half Term is....
Fairy Tales & Nursery Rhymes
This half term, we will be reading lots of different fairy tales. We will be learning Makaton signs to help us retell the stories.
In our reading area, we will have lots of puppets to help us retell the fairy tales to our friends.
We will continue to develop our gross and fine motor skills through various activities such as Squiggle whilst you wiggle and dough disco.
During our maths sessions, we will continue to practise our counting skills. We will link numerals to amounts, sort by size and capacity and begin to categorise by colour.

Oxford Reading Buddy
We have now sent out logins for Oxford Reading Buddy, please let us know if you haven't received it. Here you will be able to access a range of online books to read with your child, at the end of the book they can take a quiz and earn badges. I can keep an eye on your child's progress and watch them moving up the chart.
We follow Read Write Inc scheme for phonics. Your children will learn to form each letter correctly using special rhymes
